Description
Left-handed bassists know the struggle of finding a real instrument rather than a flipped-string compromise. The Omen Extreme-4 LH solves that outright, built from the ground up for south-paw players with a mahogany body and flamed maple top on an arched contour that gives it some visual depth to go with the growl. Finished in Black Cherry with cru00e8me multi-ply binding, abalone and pearloid vector inlays, it’s got enough flash for the stage without being over the top.
The bolt-on maple neck uses a Thin ‘C’ profile that sits comfortably under the hand, with a 34″ scale and 24 X-Jumbo frets over a rosewood board with a 16″ radius – plenty of room to dig into upper register runs. A Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut and 2-way adjustable truss rod keep things stable and tunable as your setup evolves.
Under the hood, dual Schecter Diamond Bass pickups feed a single volume control – simple, direct, no-nonsense tone shaping that lets the wood and pickups do the talking. There’s a 9-volt clip-in battery compartment onboard, and the Diamond Bass bridge along with Schecter tuners and black chrome hardware round out a build that’s meant to hold up on the road, not just look good in the case.
