Description
The Stiletto Extreme-4 is Schecter’s answer for bassists who need fast necks and fat tone without babysitting a fragile instrument. That mahogany body brings warmth and weight to the low end, while the quilted maple top isn’t just for looks — it adds a bit of snap and clarity on top of the mahogany’s punch. Bolted on and built in Indonesia, this is a workhorse, not a wallflower.
The thin ‘C’ shaped maple neck is where this bass really wins players over. At .787″ thick by the first fret and only .866″ at the twelfth, it’s slim enough for fast lines and comfortable enough for long sets. Paired with a 1.496″ nut width and 24 X-Jumbo frets across a 16″ radius rosewood board, you get room to move without feeling cramped, plus easy access way up the neck when a song calls for it. Pearloid and abalone vector inlays and creme binding dress up the fretboard without getting in the way of your fretting hand.
