The SPB-2 is a hot single-coil for the Precision side, wound to push more output and dig deeper into the low end than a standard pickup. It thickens up the overall voice without losing punch, making it a favorite for pop, blues, classic rock, and heavier styles where you need the low string to actually shove air. On the Jazz bridge side, the SJB-2B follows the Vintage blueprint but with more aggressive coil winding.
