This is an open box/demo unit of the Ampeg PF-350, and it’s a killer way to get real Portaflex tone without paying full retail. The PF-350 is proof that you don’t need to throw your back out to sound like Ampeg. At around 8 pounds, it’s the head you grab when the gig is up three flights of stairs, but it still cranks out 350 watts RMS at 4 ohms through a Class-D power section paired with a solid-state preamp — so you get that thick, unmistakable low end without hauling tube weight.
Dial in your tone with dedicated bass, mid, and treble EQ, then use the -15dB input pad to tame hot active pickups. There’s a built-in limiter with its own LED to keep you from blowing your cab on the loud nights, plus a peak LED so you know exactly where your headroom is sitting.
