Bass overdrive gets tricky fast — too much gain and you lose the bottom, too little and it’s just noise on top. The EBS MultiDrive was built specifically to dodge that trap. It’s a Class A overdrive pedal that layers in sustain and tube-style breakup while keeping your low end intact, so you can push your tone without turning your rig into mush.
A three-way mode switch lets you dial between classic, vintage, and modern flavors of drive, giving you real range from subtle amp-like warmth to more aggressive, modern grind. True bypass wiring means the pedal stays out of your way when it’s off — no tone-sucking, no signal loss.
Since its 2008 update, the MultiDrive runs with 3 dB more headroom, a redesigned analog circuit with better dynamics and lower noise, and mechanical true bypass switching for cleaner on/off transitions.
