Description
Not every gig needs a fridge-sized rig, and that’s exactly why the PF-112HLF exists. It’s a single-12 Portaflex cab that keeps the vintage B-15 attitude — Black Diamond tolex, chrome badge, that grille cloth you know on sight — but scales it down to something you can sling over a shoulder with the built-in side handle.
Under the hood is a ceramic Eminence 12″ LF driver paired with a selectable 1″ HF compression driver, so you can dial the top end in or out depending on how bright the room wants to be. The enclosure is ported, which stretches the low-frequency response down to 41 Hz — enough to keep your B and E strings feeling full instead of thin, while the top still reaches out to 14 kHz for pick attack and slap definition. Sensitivity sits at 96 dB SPL @ 1W/1m, so it moves air efficiently without needing a ton of watts to wake up.
Handling 200W RMS at 8 ohms, this cab is happiest paired with the PF-20T or PF-50T heads for a tube-driven Portaflex stack that’s still light enough to load in by yourself. Built on a rugged 15mm ply enclosure, it’s meant to survive real gigs, not just sit pretty in a practice room.
