Description
Neodymium magnets did more than shave weight off this cab—they let Ampeg build a 2×10 that punches well above its size without buckling under a serious head. The PN-210HLF is assembled in the U.S.A. with a pair of custom Eminence neodymium 10-inch woofers doing the low-end work, backed by an Eminence APT:50 horn tweeter with its own level control so you can dial the top end to taste (or turn it down when you’re deep in dub territory).
Rated for 550 watts RMS at 8 ohms, this cabinet is built to sit under a high-output Ampeg head and actually use that power—tight low mids, real projection to 125dB SPL, and a frequency range from 40Hz up to 10kHz that keeps your low B readable and your top-end growl audible. At 44 lbs it’s a genuine one-hand carry to the van, which matters more than most spec sheets admit once you’re doing three gigs a week.
The enclosure itself is built rugged, not just light—no rattles, no flex, just a cab that’s meant to get loaded and unloaded for years without complaint.
