There’s a reason bassists keep coming back to a single 15. The SVT-15E puts one cast-frame 15-inch driver to work, delivering that big, woody low-end thump that a lot of 10s just can’t replicate. With a 2.5-inch voice coil and an 80 oz magnet behind it, this driver is built to handle sustained low-frequency pressure without folding under pressure at gig volume.
Wiring is simple and stage-friendly: dual Neutrik Speak-On connections plus 1/4″ jacks on the input/output panel, so you can chain cabs or troubleshoot a bad cable without fuss. Casters are included, which matters more than it sounds like it should when you’re the one loading out at 1am.

If your rig includes a horn-loaded cab in the lineup, note that horn-equipped Ampeg cabinets use a variable level attenuator with a resistive bulb wired in series, protecting the horn from overpowering signal spikes. Straightforward, dependable, and voiced for low end that fills a room without needing to max out the volume knob.
