This is the neck-position pickup from the X5 soapbar set, part of the Classic Bass passive lineup — a series designed around a wider, more resonant frequency window than typical passive pickups. You still get that deep, dark low-end character bassists expect from Bartolini, but with more air and detail up top so your low mids don’t just turn into noise.
The dual in-line coil layout is true hum-cancelling, so you can dig in hard on stage or lay down quiet studio takes without fighting buzz. Everything’s cast in epoxy, which kills feedback and microphonic squeal — useful if you’re running high gain or standing near a loud monitor rig.
