Some overdrives give you one flavor of nasty. Alpha·Omega gives you two, plus everything in between. Co-designed with bassist/producer Jon Stockman, this Darkglass unit ditches the usual preamp-style circuit for a fully op-amp based design built around two independent distortion paths — Alpha and Omega — that you can select or blend with a single Mod knob.
Alpha is the tight, punchy side: articulate, defined, cuts through a mix without losing low-end weight. Omega is the ugly cousin — brutal, raw, unapologetic. Dial in either extreme or land somewhere in the middle depending on what the song calls for.
On top of the dual-circuit engine, you get a proper 3-band active EQ (Bass ±12dB @ 80Hz, Mid ±12dB @ 500Hz, Treble ±12dB @ 5kHz) plus two dedicated voicing controls: Bite for high-mid presence at 2.8kHz, and Growl for a shelving low-end boost that thickens and saturates the bottom. Blend and Level let you keep your clean signal at unity while dialing the overdrive in underneath, so your low end never disappears into fuzz.

This particular unit is open box and graded mint — inspected, essentially unused, and ready for the stage or studio at a lower price than new. Note: unregulated supplies or higher voltages can cause noise issues or damage and will void warranty coverage, so stick with the recommended regulated 9V.
