Description
The Duality isn’t a one-trick fuzz box—it’s two distinct fuzz engines living under one footswitch, giving bassists a real range of dirt to work with instead of a single fixed flavor. On one side you’ve got a gated saw-tooth wave that spits and gates in a way that feels almost synth-like under the fingers. On the other, a raunchy high-gain fuzz that stays tight and controllable even when you’re digging in hard. Blend them together with the Duality knob and you land somewhere between the two, opening up a wide palette of textures without needing a second pedal on your board.
- Level – dials in the volume of the fuzzed signal.
- Filter – shapes how much high-frequency bite comes through the fuzz.
- Blend – mixes your clean low end (kept at unity gain) with the overdriven signal, so you can keep your fundamental intact while stacking on grit.
- Duality – crossfades between the two fuzz circuits: full counterclockwise for the pure gated saw-tooth, cranked up for the tighter high-gain voice.
Compact footprint at 11.3×7.5 cm (4.45×2.95 in), so it won’t hog pedalboard real estate. Runs on a regulated 9V DC center-negative adapter only, drawing 20mA—no battery slot here, so plan your power chain accordingly. Skip unregulated supplies or higher voltages; they can degrade noise performance or damage the unit and void your warranty.
For bassists who want fuzz that still reads as bass—not just noise—the Duality gives you the tools to dial in anything from subtle grind to full gated chaos, live and on record.
