Description
Most wahs choke out your low B the second you rock the pedal forward. The 105Q was built to fix that. Dunlop engineered a dedicated potentiometer and custom EQ circuit around bass frequencies specifically, so the sweep stays fat and articulate instead of turning your tone thin and nasal.
The Q control is where this pedal earns its keep on a gig. Dial it down for a subtle, warm growl that just colors your groove, or crank it for an aggressive, vocal-like snap on solos and fills — the range is wide enough to cover both without needing a second pedal.
Practical touches make it road-ready: rock forward and the effect kicks in smoothly in the lower register with no jarring jump, lift off and the auto-off switching silently bypasses the circuit, and a built-in spring snaps the treadle back to off on its own. There’s also an onboard volume control, so you can match unity gain or push a little extra boost when a wah-drenched solo needs to cut through the mix.
- Bass-specific pot and EQ circuitry — no guitar-wah compromise
- Q control for dialing in punchy or subtle wah character
- Auto-return and silent auto-off for smooth engagement/bypass
- Adjustable volume control for gain matching or boost
This unit is used and sold as-is — a genuine workhorse for bassists who want low-end wah that actually sounds like bass.
