Description
Standing next to a wedge or a full PA rig for hours takes a toll on your ears, and bassists know that toll better than most — all that low-frequency pressure adds up over a career. The Crescendo Music 20 from Dynamic Ear Company was built to let you keep playing loud rooms without sacrificing your hearing down the line.
Most gigs and rehearsals blow past the 85 dB safe-listening threshold, and prolonged exposure above that can lead to tinnitus or permanent hearing loss. The Music 20’s acoustic mesh filters bring volume down to a safer level while preserving full-frequency detail, so you can comfortably handle up to 105 dB for as long as 8 hours — a full night on stage or in the studio.
The membrane filter design keeps an open air passage to the ear canal, which cuts down on the occlusion effect that can otherwise muddy or boost low frequencies unnaturally in your own hearing. That ventilation also makes them far more comfortable to wear through a long set than plugs that seal everything off.
