Description

Every bassist needs a little grit in their arsenal, and the EHX Bass Blogger hands you two flavors of it in one stompbox. Flip between selectable Drive and Fuzz modes and you’ve got everything from a warm, rounded overdrive that thickens your tone without losing note definition, to a raw, snarling fuzz that’ll cut through a mix like a chainsaw. It’s an analog circuit built specifically with low frequencies in mind, so your fundamental stays intact even when you’re pushing things into distortion territory.

  • Selectable fuzz or drive voicing
  • Simple control set: drive, tone, and volume
  • Wide tonal range for shaping grit to taste
  • Separate dry and effect outputs for blending or parallel rigs
  • True bypass keeps your clean tone untouched when off
  • Rugged die-cast chassis built for the road
  • Runs on the included 9V battery

With true bypass wiring, the Bass Blogger stays out of the way until you need it, and the individual dry/effect outs give you the flexibility to blend a touch of grit with your clean signal or run both to separate amps entirely. The die-cast housing is built to survive van loads and stage abuse, and at just 4.75″ x 4″ x 2.25″ it tucks onto any pedalboard without a fight. Whether you’re after subtle warmth for a studio session or a wall-shaking fuzz tone for a live set, this pedal gives low-end players real control over their dirt.
