Everything is wired with 22 AWG vintage push-back wire, giving it that old-school look under the pickguard along with a bit of that broken-in vintage warmth in the signal path. Every solder joint at the input jack is covered in heat-shrink insulation, so this kit is built to survive the bumps, sweat, and general abuse of actual gigging — not just sitting pretty on a workbench.
One thing to know before you order: these are US-spec pots. If you’re installing this in an import bass with metric-sized pot holes, you’ll likely need to ream out the pickguard a bit and grab US-spec knobs to match. Worth the extra step for a wiring harness that just works, night after night.
