The alder body keeps things light on your shoulder through long sets, while the maple neck with its slim “Modern C” profile lets your fretting hand move fast without fatigue. Narrow-tall frets give you cleaner bends and truer intonation as you climb toward the upper register, and Posiflex graphite rods embedded under the fingerboard keep the neck honest through temperature swings on tour or in a sweaty club.
Under the hood, Michael Bump’s V-Mod single-coil Jazz Bass pickups (bridge and neck) deliver that classic warm-but-clear Fender voice – vintage character with enough output to hold up on a big rig. The HiMass vintage-style 4-saddle bridge adds sustain and stability, and the fluted-shaft tuning machines keep your strings wound tight for a cleaner break angle over the bone nut, meaning better tuning stability set after set.
