This American Vintage ’63 Precision Bass brings that recipe back, warts-and-all authenticity intact, dressed in Three-Color Sunburst with a four-ply brown pickguard.
Under your fretting hand is a slightly wider C-shaped maple neck with clay-colored dot inlays and a 7.25″ radius board – old-school feel, forgiving under heavy hands, and honest about where the note sits. The new American Vintage ’63 split single-coil pickup does what P-Basses have always done best: growl in the low mids, sit under a mix without a fight, and respond to how hard you dig in rather than what pedal you’re running.
