If you’ve ever loved the low end a good 1×15 throws but hated hauling it up a flight of stairs, the Bassman 115 Neo is Fender’s answer. It’s built around a Fender Special Design Eminence neodymium 15″ speaker paired with a compression driver horn, so you get that big, room-filling thump along with enough top-end sparkle to cut through a busy mix — dial the horn attenuator to taste depending on how bright you want your night to sound.
What sets this cab apart from old-school 1×15 boxes is the weight: neodymium magnets keep it under 45 lbs, so getting it in and out of the van solo isn’t a fight. Fender wrapped it in a lightweight plywood enclosure finished in that late-’60s/early-’70s blackface style, so it looks as at home on a vintage-tone rig as it does at a modern gig. Removable 2″ casters and spring-loaded steel flip handles mean you can roll it right up to the stage and then pull the wheels off before it goes on stage.
On the back you get two 1/4″ inputs plus a Speakon connector, giving you flexibility for whatever amp you’re running into it. Rated for 700 watts program power (350 watts continuous) at 8 ohms, with a frequency response of 40 Hz to 15 kHz, it’s got the headroom to handle a serious rig without flinching.
