Both pickup positions run Dual-Coil Ceramic Noiseless Jazz Bass units with nickel-plated pole pieces, so you get classic Jazz Bass snap and growl minus the 60-cycle hum that plagues single-coils on a loud stage. The active/passive switch gives you two basses in one: flip to active for onboard EQ shaping and hotter output, or drop to passive when you want a more vintage, amp-driven response. A 4-saddle Fender Hi-Mass bridge anchors the low end with solid sustain and rock-steady tuning stability, and the contoured neck heel makes upper-fret access noticeably easier during those extended solo moments.
