Fender took the split-coil Precision pickup that’s driven basslines for decades and paired it with a Vintage Noiseless Jazz Bass pickup at the bridge, giving you a PJ setup that goes from round and woody to bright and aggressive with a flick of the pickguard controls.
Under the hood, a three-band active EQ lets you sculpt bass, mid, and treble independently—useful when the room swallows your low end or the mix needs more cut. Flip the active/passive switch and you’re back to a more vintage-voiced signal, no extra gear required.
