The Pro Junior IV is that amp: a 15-watt all-tube combo dressed in lacquered tweed with ’50s-style grille cloth, a chrome panel with the red jewel light, and a leather handle for grab-and-go gigs.
Under the hood it runs 2x EL84 power tubes and 2x 12AX7 preamp tubes into a single 10″ Jensen P10R speaker, giving it a tight, balanced voice with plenty of top-end sparkle. Fender reworked the volume circuit on this version so it breaks up more gradually — you get a wider useful range before things turn gnarly, and the low end stays firmer and more defined even when you push it into overdrive. That makes it a genuinely flexible little box: clean and glassy at low volumes, thick and mean once you dig in, and easy to shape further with pedals in front.
