Description
Some 4x10s sound boxy or thin no matter how much you EQ them. The CX410 isn’t one of them. GK built custom drivers just for this cabinet – edge-wound aluminum 2″ voice coils, made in their own USA factory – so each 10″ speaker punches well above its size. That’s the kind of low-end authority you want driving a room, not fighting you for it.
- Each driver lives in its own sealed chamber, keeping the cones from talking to each other and canceling out your tone through standing waves or cabinet leakage.
- The port is tuned specifically for these drivers, paired with a jute-blend damping material that controls resonance exactly where it needs to be controlled – not a generic box with a hole cut in it.
- Sure Lock feet and corners let stacked cabinets actually stay put during load-in, load-out, and the show itself.
- Tough vinyl covering with metal corner protection, plywood construction, and side flip-grip handles – this thing is meant to survive a van, not just a living room.
- Three-position tweeter attenuator dials in your top-end bite, with one twist-lock speaker connector for a rock-solid connection plus a standard 1/4″ input.
Rated at 800 watts, switchable between 4 and 8 ohms depending on how you’re running your head. Dimensions: 14.5 x 23 x 26.5″, weighing in at 67 lbs – hefty enough to move air, light enough to still carry solo up a flight of stairs.
If you want a 4×10 that reads as tight, punchy, and gig-ready rather than muddy or fragile, this is GK doing what GK does best.
