Description
The Schecter Corsair takes a semi-hollow maple body and pairs it with a set-in, 3-piece maple neck reinforced for long-term stability under string tension and stage abuse. The Thin “C” profile keeps your fretting hand relaxed through long sets, while the ebony fingerboard adds a smooth, fast feel and that dark, articulate snap ebony is known for.
Under the hood, a calibrated EMG TBHZ humbucking pickup set does the heavy lifting — tight, focused low end with clear harmonic content and an attack that cuts through a mix without getting harsh. Master volume, blend, and a 2-band Active EQ give you real shaping power on the fly, so you’re not stuck dialing in your tone once and hoping it holds up across a whole gig.
Hardware-wise, the Tune-O-Matic bridge and WSC KG700 Light Weight Vintage Tuners keep intonation solid and tuning stable, which matters when you’re hopping between songs in different tunings or just want the bass to stay put through a sweaty set.
