Description
The Omen Extreme-4 gives you a lot of bass for the money, and it shows the moment you plug in. Under that arched flamed maple top sits a mahogany body with real weight and warmth, so low notes come through fat and even instead of thin or boomy. The pair of active Schecter Diamond Bass pickups pushes out a clear, punchy tone with plenty of headroom — great for cutting through a mix live or laying down a solid low end in the studio.
The maple neck wears a Thin ‘C’ profile that’s comfortable for both fingerstyle and pick playing, with a 34″ scale and 24 X-Jumbo frets on a rosewood board. Abalone and pearloid vector inlays plus crème multi-ply binding dress up the neck without getting in the way of playability, and the 16″ fretboard radius keeps action fast across the whole range. A Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut and 2-way adjustable truss rod round out a neck built to stay stable through temperature and tuning changes.
Hardware is all business: black chrome tuners and a Diamond Bass bridge keep things solid and low-maintenance, with a single volume control and a 9-volt clip-in battery compartment for the active electronics. Finished in Black Cherry with a 6-bolt neck joint for extra sustain and stability, this is a bass built to actually gig — not just sit on a stand.
