The Omen Extreme-4 takes the Omen line up a notch, pairing a mahogany body with a quilted maple top finished in Gloss Natural so the figuring actually shows through the grain. Bound in crème multi-ply and topped with gold hardware, it’s the kind of bass that photographs as good as it plays.
Under the hood, a pair of Schecter Diamond Bass pickups feed a Volume/Blend/2-Band EQ setup, giving you plenty of room to shape your low end from round and vintage to punchy and modern without reaching for pedals. The Schecter Diamond Bass bridge anchors strings solidly for consistent sustain night after night.
The bolt-on maple neck wears a Thin “C” profile that’s fast under the hand, with a 34″ scale that feels familiar to most four-string players. Rosewood houses 24 X-Jumbo frets under a 16″ radius fretboard, with abalone and pearloid vector inlays marking your way up the neck — sharp-looking and easy to read on a dim stage. A Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut and 2-way adjustable truss rod round out a neck built to stay stable through seasons and setups.
