Squier’s Vintage Modified ’70s Jazz Bass gets you there with two Fender-designed single-coil pickups wired the classic way: independent volumes for each pickup plus a master tone, so you can blend from thumpy neck-pickup warmth to snappy bridge-pickup snarl (or run both wide open for full-bodied punch).
The slim “C”-shaped maple neck wears a vintage-tint gloss finish and a 9.5″ radius maple fingerboard with black binding and black block inlays — a look and feel that instantly says ’70s Fender. Medium jumbo frets and a 1.5″ synthetic bone nut keep playability smooth whether you’re locked into a groove or running up the neck for a fill. The soft maple body is finished in Olympic White with a three-ply black pickguard laid over the top for that classic contrast.
Rounding out the build: a four-saddle standard bridge, knurled chrome control knobs, and open-gear tuners for stable, easy tuning at the headstock. It ships strung with Fender USA Super Bass 7250ML nickel-plated steel strings (.045-.100), ready to gig.
